Originally from the small town of Lünen in Germany, Max pursued his academic journey at Cardiff University where he completed his BSc in Economics and Finance program, graduating top of his cohort each year. This achievement earned him a scholarship to Cambridge University, where he completed his MPhil in Finance.

Leveraging his financial background, Max launched his career in Investment Banking, quickly developing expertise in capital markets and corporate finance. After spending two years in the banking sector, he felt compelled to pursue more entrepreneurial ventures that would create tangible impact.

In 2021, alongside Jacob, Max helped establish Flash—an innovative FinTech checkout solution based in Germany. With support from the renowned European venture studio Rocket Internet, they built a platform that improved mobile conversion rates for online retailers through their streamlined one-tap payment app.

Today, as CEO and co-founder of Odyssean, Max oversees the company's strategic direction.
